An exceptional original Wassily Chair, designed by Marcel Breuer and produced by Gavina in Italy.

This is an early Gavina edition from the period before Marcel Breuer’s signature was embossed into the backrest. The original Gavina manufacturer’s label is still partially preserved on the chrome frame, confirming its authenticity and provenance.

The iconic design combines a sculptural tubular chrome-plated steel frame with black leather upholstery. With its clean geometry and revolutionary construction, the Wassily Chair—also known as the Model B3—remains one of the most important and recognizable designs of the Bauhaus era.

The chair is in excellent vintage condition. The leather is beautifully preserved, and the chrome frame retains a bright, elegant finish. Only minimal signs of age and use are visible, consistent with its vintage character. Please refer to the detailed photographs.
